This week takes me to Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom to speak in and attend at Scottish Summit 2022. Looking at the list of speakers and schedule there are a big number of great content and a reunion with plenty of community friends. I will present my session on Saturday 11th of June at 11am GMT in Level 2 Auditorium A. While I have done similar sessions in the past, this one gets the same treatment as all my sessions: I always review & update my sessions to keep them relevant and fresh with latest information and demos.
My session is titled Boost Productivity in Microsoft Teams with Power Platform. One of those rare occasions I don’t have Metaverse in the title or summary. 🤣

Power Platform provides several ways to boost productivity in Microsoft Teams. Normal users have a easy way to get started on personal level and it is easy to elevate various processes to team and to even organization level.
This session is a demo rich session highlighting how to get started with personal and team productivity automations. You will learn what is easily available out there to taken into daily use and how your team & organization can start utilizing Power Platform easily in Microsoft Teams to reduce repetitive work.
Technologies used in the session focus on Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents.
I will be doing less slides and more demos – which is going to be fun in a large auditorium! I start with personal productivity and easy ways how everyone can get started with using simple tricks. Moving towards team and organization level I showcase some Power Automate automations you can still get started using relatively easily. And of course there will be little bots Power Virtual Agents on especially tacking those repetitive questions people often get. But those little bots can be more complex and have nice features when extended with Power Automate.

I used to do that session quite a many times as well – updating it with latest features and practices. It was never the same one between sessions. Looking at that sketchnote I have to say it is still accurate 🙂
