TeamsFest October 7th 2020 ✅

Today it is exactly one month (30 days) before TeamsFest – a fantastic free Microsoft Teams focused online event For the Community, By the Community to share the knowledge and experiences of Microsoft Teams to everyone who attends it!

TeamsFest is organized by Chris Hoard, Adam Deltinger, Chris Webb and me. As an anecdote we managed to get the photo above when we all met the first time as a group at Ignite 2019 in Orlando. With us we have Laurie Pottmeyer – Teams Community Lead from Microsoft – in the picture.

A snip from my friend’s and TeamsFest co-organizer’s blog post:

TeamsFest is a 100% free, 100% community driven conference dedicated to Microsoft Teams. It aims to bring together exceptional technical talent and thought leaders to democratize Teams knowledge, encourage participation in the Teams community and give those who are struggling financially an opportunity to attend a first class Teams conference.

TeamsFest is a great event to learn about Microsoft Teams and also from other people’s experiences. There are 85 sessions in 8 tracks with different expertise areas:

There are almost almost 90 community speakers and there are also 9 speakers from Microsoft: Jeff Teper, Ilya Bukshteyn, Laurie Pottmeyer, Pouneh Kaufman, Karuana Gatimu, Mark Kashman, Allie Wieczorek, Vesa Juvonen and Mike Tholfsen.

TeamsFest begins with a keynote on 7th of October at 8am Central European Time (CEST) that is 7am in UK and 9am in Finland. Session rooms open one hour later at 9am CEST and new sessions begin on top of the hour. Last sessions end about 7:30pm CEST so prepare for a long day! There are about 10-15 minute breaks between sessions.
